If you have major weight-loss or physique transformation goals, then you need to be even more realistic in knowing that your real life doesn’t just stop and wait for you while you engage yourself in trying to reach these goals. Meaning: if you have real-life issues come up then make sure to turn around and face them right away – as soon as possible and in the best way you can. This doesn’t get in the way of your fitness goals – it feeds your goals by building character by engaging in your life – the whole of your life.

Dealing with stressful situations that come up while you are trying to focus on your goal may not be easy – but if you continue to let these issues fester – they negatively impact your life anyway – because they will affect your ability to focus. Face whatever comes your way as soon as it does – and realize this is part of the “life fitness” equation bigger picture.

Remember the whole project you are working on is a project called “yourself” – and your real life has equal billing to your fitness/weight-loss/or physique transformation goals. Don’t use weight-loss goals or physique-transformation goals as a means to avoid your life – but as a way to engage your life as a stronger, more complete person- an extension of who you are, not a pretension of who you want to be!
